Speech Therapist in General Practice

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech Therapist (Speech Pathologist) to join our multidisciplinary General Practice. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment and therapy services to children and adults within a collaborative primary care setting. Key Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based therapy plans.Provide therapy for paediatric and adult patients.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.Liaise with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated care.Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities. Requirements:Ability to bulk bill your patients.Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.Current SPA (Speech Pathology Australia) membership.Eligibility for Medicare provider number.Professional Indemnity Insurance.Eligibility to work in Australia.Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Desirable:Experience in a primary care or multidisciplinary setting.Interest in paediatrics, neuro, voice, or dysphagia.Experience with clinical software and Medicare billing.
