Role Description This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to join Synergys executive leadership team as Executive General Manager Future Energy. You will provide strategic leadership to accelerate the organisations transition to a lowcarbon, sustainable and resilient energy future. The role shapes and directs future energy strategy, driving innovation in renewable generations, decarbonisation pathways, energy storage, emerging technologies and system integration, and ensures alignment with government energy policy, climate goals and the organisations longterm growth objectives. Job Responsibilities Champion Synergys transition to a lowcarbon, resilient energy future. Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, affordable and clean energy programs. Oversee asset management and operational performance of renewable portfolios. Develop DER operational capability and integration into the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM). Drive the expansion of Synergys renewable generation capacity. Foster a highperformance culture aligned with Synergys strategic goals. What You Will Bring Extensive executive experience in complex, highimpact organisations. Proven success in delivering largescale capital projects and navigating political environments. Deep expertise in renewable energy generation, strategy, and commercial operations. Experience with acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
