Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Designer, Civil for a fulltime role. As a valued senior member of our civil team you will be responsible for design and documentation from the schematic stage through to detailed documentation for a wide range of civil projects focused on land development. You will work on large greenfield sites, urban infill, brownfield sites, and strata subdivision developments, with key design elements including earthworks, retaining walls, sewer & water reticulation, stormwater drainage, and road design. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD and either 12D or Civil3D software. Coordinate with clients, external consultants, internal engineers, civil designers, and draftspersons for project documentation and delivery. Plan and complete design projects within agreed budgets and deadlines. Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering their development and growth. Demonstrate motivation and desire to progress into a Design Lead role. Qualifications Relevant industry experience, ideally 5+ years. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D software, and/or Civil3D. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, Australian Standards, and local government authorities. Experience with local councils and authorities preferred. Autonomous design skills and strong decisionmaking ability. Consultancy experience highly regarded. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic team environment. TAFE qualification Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent industry experience. Additional Information Colliers values enterprising culture and diversity.
