Our Brooklyn yard is seeking a practical, hands-on yard hand, to contribute to general yard activities, maintain smooth and safe daily operations, and assist customers with basic enquiries and service needs. Your responsibilities will include: Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers Grade, sort, and manage metals to meet operational and quality standards Maintain site compliance with environmental guidelines and OH&S policies Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers Operate plant equipment including material handlers, forklifts, loaders, and excavators (where licensed) What we''re looking for: Experience operating forklift - Licence essential Excavator, loader, skid steer, or other plant tickets - advantageous Good customer service skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Hands-on approach and willingness to be flexible Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent attendance Positive, can-do attitude and openness to training to expand skills What We Offer Paid Parental Leave - 12 weeks for primary carers, 6 weeks for secondary carers Health Benefits - BUPA discounts for you and your family Wellbeing Support - Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Financial Tools - Tailored superannuation sessions to support your financial future Career Growth - Ongoing learning and internal promotion pathways
