Cluster Units Manager Sentence Management Operations Administration Clerk Grade 7/8 24hrs Lodgement Processing UnitCorrective Services NSWLocation Francis Greenway Complex Employment Type - Ongoing, Full TimeSalary - $113,573 - $ 125,719pa + Superannuation + Leave LoadingHybrid working model available Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts 8am-4pm & 10am to 6pmAbout the RoleAre you an experienced and innovative leader looking to provide professional management and support to an established team?CSNSW now require you to come on board and manage the day-to-day provision of high quality, professional and timely Sentence Administration service delivery within a Clustered Correctional operational area, to key stakeholders including Correctional centres, court complexes, Community Corrections staff, the public, and government and non-government agencies from NSW and external jurisdictionsThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to inmates and staff. The duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Supervise, lead and mentor administration staff within a set clusterCoordinate and deliver results in accordance with legislation, policy and practiceApply agency administrative systems, procedures and methods that are in line with organisational standardsWork on process improvement projects to balance competing demands and determine priorities Coordinate the allocation of resources within the team and negotiation with other managersThorough working knowledge in relation to the detention and release of inmates.Working knowledge and experience in the interpretation of complex and changing legislation and understanding of the NSW Criminal Justice SystemAbout YouConfidence and the ability to work well under pressure will see you succeed in this role. Your strong leadership skills and experience will help you support the team whilst managing conflicts using existing conflict resolution practices. You will always display and act with integrity whilst providing a positive customer service to identify issues and find appropriate solutions.
