Security Officer | Townsville Shopping Centre We are currently seeking motivated Retail Security Officers to join our team in a full-time rotating role, with additional opportunities available for flexible and casual employment. Roster: Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am - 8:30pm Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30pm - 8:30am Four days off, rotating through an 8 week cycle Weekend work required As a Trident Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe, welcoming environment while maintaining a strong security presence on-site. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service, quick-thinking, and ready to be part of a professional and supportive team.Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality customer service and front-line support Identifying and resolving potential risks and issues proactively Responding to all medical and security incidents Accurately reporting and recording incidents during your shift Responding to emergencies in line with site protocols Building professional relationships with emergency services Using conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques effectively To be successful in this role, you will need: A current QLD Security License with valid Crowd Control function Valid First Aid and CPR certificates Strong written and verbal communication skills A customer-first attitude with strong interpersonal skills Flexibility to work within a rotating 24/7 roster High personal integrity and grooming standards Previous experience in regulated environments (desirable) What we offer: Full professional uniform provided Stable, long-term employment opportunities On-site training and ongoing professional development A supportive, inclusive team environment Trident Services Australia is a national leader in fully integrated service delivery, supporting retail centres and airports across Australia through comprehensive, clientfocused solutions.
