Applications closing on 05 May 2026, 05:00 PM Job Type: Full Time Position Description: PD-Finance-Officer-Revenue-Sep25.pdf GORCAPA is responsible for managing more than 170,000 hectares of coastal reserves, National Parks, Marine Sanctuaries and foreshores stretching along 355 kilometres of stunning coastline. This includes high-profile sites such as the Twelve Apostles Visitor Experience Precinct and Cape Otway Lightstation, as well as local ports, community reserves and critical marine environments. As the Senior Finance Business Partner at The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority, you will play a critical role in delivering financial strategy, strengthening commercial performance, and embedding a high-value partnering model across the business. Supporting diverse operations including Caravan Parks and Visitor Centres you will influence decisions that balance financial sustainability with environmental and community outcomes. This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, influence and impact and is looking to step into a position that blends strategic thinking with handson commercial engagement. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnering & Performance: partner with leaders to drive commercial decisionmaking, monitor financial performance, and provide insights that improve outcomes and accountability. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting: lead the endtoend budget and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business plans, grant funding, and organisational priorities. Financial Analysis, Reporting & Modelling: deliver highquality financial reporting and advanced modelling to support business cases, capital projects, and scenario planning. LongTerm Planning & Continuous Improvement: contribute to the LongTerm Financial Plan while building financial capability across the organisation and driving improvements in systems, processes, and financial literacy. Governance, Systems & Stakeholder Engagement: maintain strong financial controls, policies, and systems, while liaising with government stakeholders, auditors, and supporting the broader finance function. About You You are a commercially astute finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and influencing outcomes. You combine strong technical capability with the ability to engage, challenge, and guide stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline CPA or CA qualified (essential) Minimum 5 years experience in senior finance or business partnering roles Proven experience leading organisationwide budgeting and forecasting processes Demonstrated success in financial performance management and strategic partnering Knowledge & Skills Advanced financial modelling and data analysis capability Strong experience facilitating budget and forecast discussions with nonfinancial stakeholders Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills High attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (ELMO, Sage, ProSpend highly desirable) If youre ready to move beyond traditional finance and step into a role where you can truly partner, influence, and make an impact this is your opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
