Senior Technical Consultant Join to apply for the Senior Technical Consultant role at Gresham. As an Senior Control Technical Consultant, youll play a key role in delivering expert product knowledge and guidance to Greshams customers on the implementation of the Control software suite. You will work with leading banks and financial institutions operating in APAC, EMEA and worldwide. You will lead by example on project work, delivering best in class solutions and technical configurations, showcasing excellent attention to detail, analytical and problemsolving skills. Working with a variety of business and technical stakeholders on our delivery projects, you will use excellent communication to convey complex technical concepts in straightforward terms, resolving technical challenges in a collaborative working environment. You will work with end users to train and educate them so that they are able to drive their own selfsufficiency. Using an established project implementation methodology, you will ensure our deliveries are made in line with best practice and following methodologies that you help enhance and refine. What Youll Do Assisting customers with refinement of their requirements and translation of these into configuration. Completing technical deployments of the Control software suite in cloud or onpremise environments. Producing technical configuration following best practice and with keen attention to detail. Actively contributing to the ongoing refinement of our best practice methodology. Conducting system testing of configuration and bespoke solution components and assisting customers with solution queries that may arise during acceptance testing. Developing customer facing documentation, including solution designs, testing evidence and operational guides, and assisting with peer review of documents produced by other consultants. Writing internal documentation, including solution overviews and deployment guides. Assisting with the preparation and delivery of technical training to customers. Providing thirdline support for solutions you have previously implemented. Assisting customers with their golive planning and implementation activities. Completing allocated project activities and tasks on time and within the allocated budget. Providing accurate and timely status reports to the project manager and actively participating in status meetings. Flagging potential changes of project scope to the project manager at the earliest opportunity. Participating in post project reviews to help identify lessons to be learnt and / or process improvements that could be introduced. What You Bring Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of XML, XSD, SQL, and Regular Expressions. Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Comfortable with Windows & Linux administration, scripting, and deployments. Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure environments. Practical use of reporting tools (BIRT, Crystal Reports, Business Objects). It would be preferred if you have: Financial services project delivery (investment banking a plus). Knowledge of financial messaging (SWIFT MT/MX, FIX). Reconciliation product experience. Secure networking design and troubleshooting skills.
