Electrical Supervisor - Plant and Machinery

The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate onsite construction activities, directing employees, resources and subcontract teams to ensure the projects safe, timely and highquality completion. Location: Project office in Sydney CBD with occasional site visits. Once the project is fully operational, the role will transition to a 14/7 rosterbased arrangement out of the camp in Merotherie, Central West Orana Region. Key Responsibilities Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards. Oversee safe construction and dismantling of temporary support structures, processing plants, temporary power and other temporary systems to support the permanent works. Implement and adhere to projectspecific safety plans, conduct hazard assessments and ensure all personnel are inducted and aware of safety measures. Provide positive leadership to subcontractors, monitor performance and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety. Plan and manage the movement of materials, plant and equipment to ensure efficient and safe project execution. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with ACEREZ D&C management system procedures and legislative requirements. Participate in incident investigations, report incidents to management and ensure timely resolution of safety and environmental issues. Develop shortterm programmes, ensuring resource levels are adequate and manage subcontractors to meet project timelines and efficiency targets. Conduct team meetings, maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and foster positive relationships with clients and team members. Criteria for Selection Preferable 5+ years experience in construction or engineering as an electrical supervisor. Exposure to fixed plant RO water processing and waste systems. Experience with temporary work installation and maintenance of lighting and power. Problemsolving and analytical skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Competent in planning and organising work schedules. Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation. Selfconfident and able to persuade or influence others to gain their commitment.
