Our dedication to both our clients and candidates underscores our role as a trusted partner in the legal industry.The RolesWe are always working with a number of boutique, national and global toptier law firms in need of Legal Support staff across various areas of law, including Commercial Litigation, Defendant Insurance, Employment, IP, Construction, Government, Corporate, Real Estate... and more!ResponsibilitiesManaging word processing, document preparation, and drafting correspondenceHandling diary management using OutlookManaging financial tasks, including external and internal billing, reporting, and thirdparty invoicingCollaborating with both internal and external clients as neededCoordinating travel arrangementsRecording client information in a contacts databaseEstablishing, closing, and archiving client matter filesProviding guidance and mentoring to junior legal assistant staffPerforming various general administrative duties, such as filing and photocopyingQualificationsPrior experience as a Legal Secretary (usually 12+ months experience required)A desire for longevity in a support position (unfortunately it is extremely rare for us to recruit for positions suitable for students or graduates)Excellent communications and organisational skillsA cando attitude and willingness to learnHow to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Claire Booth at Assiduous Staffing on 0452 651 183 or alternatively, click to apply.Additional NotePlease note - it is extremely rare for us to recruit for positions suitable for law students or for candidates without prior experience as a legal secretary.
