Job Profile SummaryThe Insurance Program Director is responsible for overseeing and leading teams to deliver the project(s) for clients and manages schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and ontime project delivery. The Insurance Program Director identifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverables, serves as the point of escalation for projectrelated activities, and is the escalation point for the Customer. The Director may be expected to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously.Essential Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overseeing and leading teams to deliver the project(s) for clientsResponsible for meeting specific revenue targets within the Services organizationOversee the daytoday project activities and deliverables, including managing schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and ontime project deliveryMakes personnel and staffing decisions on behalf of the practiceAssumes people management responsibilities including, but not limited to, the management of direct reports, writing and conducting annual performance reviews, managing underperformance, and serving as a hiring managerIdentifies and develops trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders, sponsors, and other stakeholdersIdentifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverablesServes as the point of escalation for projectrelated activities, and the Customer.Reports to Services leadership on project results, metrics, test and deployment management activitiesManages project scope and changesManages the engagement contract and Statement of WorkSets and continually manages project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholdersDevelops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO, and key stakeholdersContributes IP back to Delivery practiceMentors project team membersMay work across multiple complex projects simultaneously.Perform other related duties and activities as requiredPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Qualifications / RequirementsEducation and Work ExperienceMaster or Post graduate''s degree required, preferably in area with technical emphasisMinimum of 15 years'' professional experience, including delivery experience covering planning and mobilizationSpecialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities10+ years of hands on Design, develop, test, maintain and document program code in accordance with user requirements, and system and technical specificationsSolution experience covering estimating, configuration, costing, sourcing and client interfacing/selling (RFI/RFP, Orals/Workshops)Duck Creek certification in Policy Administration System experience. Additional Billing and Claims System experience preferred.Experience in Cloud hosting/native development: Azure / AWS focused / Azure e.g. Api Gateway, Azure FunctionsDeep experience in General Insurance globally and preferably with Duck Creek implementationsExperience framing technical solutions for General insurance providersDeep understanding of Data Migration with successful resultsAdvanced strategy and planning experience to determine goals and to assist in critical support situationsExperience delivering Enterprise, Commercial, offtheshelf software to a large customer baseExperience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance softwareHands on experience with integration using various type of architecture and protocolsExperience with implementation of Duck Creek / Guldewire Platform solutions for Policy Administration, Claims and/or Billing is a plusAny project management experience along with PMP certification would be advantageousDemonstrated exp managing a client & working both independently and in a teamoriented, collaborative environmentOther RequirementsTravel: 5075%Special Work Hours:Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location; if not conditional on obtaining the right work visas.Experience with systems integration (Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, thirdparty systems)Job Types: Fulltime, PermanentAbility to commute/relocateSydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work AuthorisationAustralia (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
