MRA is part of the wider Life Asia Pacific division, with its hub in Singapore. The purpose of the business is to drive sustainable life insurance with our clients for our community.You will provide dual support to the Life Claims and Analytics & Insights team as required. The Life Claims team is responsible for claim portfolio management within MRA and supports its clients with claims assessment, associated technical support and training. The Analytics & Insights team collaborates with internal teams locally and globally to deliver assumptions and insights. This is achieved through traditional actuarial practices as well as the development of innovative tools that leverage Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technologies.Role OverviewAs a senior claims professional in the Life Claims team, you will serve as a key relationship contact for cedants, playing a critical role in ensuring strong cedant claims management capabilities and technical expertise for Life, TPD, Critical Illness and Disability Income claims. Part of the role will be to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth and success. Working with the senior claims project consultant in the Analytics & Insights team, you will assist to develop and implement GenAI solutions, coordinating with other claims resources to ensure seamless integration and smooth delivery of claimsrelated activities within these projects.Contributions to Strong CultureDemonstrate behaviours and contribute to initiatives that support our culture areas of empowerment, outcomefocused, and connectednessSeek opportunities to enhance engagement, personally, across MRA and with our cedantsActively seek opportunities and be curious to learn and support the successful development and implementation of GenAI solutions.MRA Claims Portfolio ManagementFor individual Life, TPD, Critical Illness and Disability Income claims under your oversight, deliver claims technical advice that balances MRA technical and cedant client centricity expectations, and LICOP obligationsLeverage internal resources, such as MDT, CMO, and Legal, to support optimal claims outcomesEnsure effective portfolio management, including appropriate follow ups and touchpoints, handbacks, management of caseloads, and uplift in capability of cedants through coaching and influencingShare claims scoring results with cedants, and implementing initiatives to resolve systemic opportunitiesClient Service and Stakeholder EngagementProvide cedant(s) with claims technical support including uplift in cedant claims management capabilitiesDevelop and maintain strong external relationships with clients, providing highquality, timely service and supportEnsure individual SLA''s are met, which may include attendance in client officeDemonstrate a culture of client centricity, understanding of challenges, and develop/ implement initiatives that support clients ''on the ground''Coordinate with other resources and teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth delivery of claimsrelated activities within various projects.Claims support for AI solutionsReview and provide constructive feedback on the outputs of GenAI claims solutions to ensure accuracy and relevance.Collaborate with data scientists on refining and improving claims assessment prompts to enhance the precision and effectiveness of AIdriven evaluations.Your ProfileInsurance Industry Accreditation preferred8 years+ experience in retail Life Insurance claims management with a proven track record of delivering claims technical advice with a customer centric mindsetStrong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices in claims management and client serviceStrong analytical and problemsolving skills to manage complex claims portfolios and identify areas for improvementManaging and addressing stakeholder concerns with a focus on understanding their needs and providing effective solutionsAbout Munich ReAt Munich Re, we embrace, and value, the interaction of diverse backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and thought.
