We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Payroll Adviser to join our team in Sydney. In this role you will work closely with the Payroll Team and will build key internal and external relationships with various stakeholders and auditors.Please note, this is a parental cover until April 2027What you''ll doEnd to end monthly payroll processing for approx 1900 staffCalculation of casual timesheets, leave, overtime, etcProcessing of leave requests and monitoring of leave accrualsVerification of all data entryProduction of all payroll reportsMonth end and year end Chris21 processesManual and termination payment calculationsMonthly and ad hoc Chris21 and Workday Excel reportingMonthly overtime billing to FinanceMonthly Payroll reconciliationsAutonomously manage client base and attend to staff queries with highly developed customer service focusMonthly superannuation reconciliations and payments to super fundsMonthly PAYG reconciliations and paymentsMonthly payroll tax reconciliations and paymentsWhat you''ll bringMinimum 5 years'' experience using Chris21 preferred, not limited toExperience using Workday (preferred but not required)Ability to work as part of a teamAbility to prioritise workloadAbility to work without direct supervisionAbility to process a large volume of work accurately and adhering to strict deadlinesAbility to work under pressureExcellent organisational, listening and communication skillsPositive acceptance of direction and new tasks at all timesEnthusiasm and energyAbility to deal with sensitive issues on a confidential basisGood understanding of ATO and LSL national legislationAbility to understand and interpret Awards (LSA & MA in particular)An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.What you can expect from usWe''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
