Were seeking a proactive and experienced Payroll Consultant to join our lean, high-performing HR team in Sydney. This is a handson role where youll be responsible for delivering endtoend payroll for over 2,000 employees, managing complex queries, and driving continuous improvement in our payroll operations. In this role, youll be part of a small, collaborative team where every member plays a critical role. On any given day, youll be processing fortnightly pay runs, reconciling superannuation and leave liabilities, liaising with our payroll vendor (ADP), and ensuring compliance with evolving legislation. Youll also play a key role in identifying inefficiencies, implementing smarter processes, and supporting reporting and audits. Our ideal candidate will be someone with a can-do attitude who can confidently juggle competing priorities, come from a highly regulated industry, respond to urgent tasks with calm efficiency, and bring a sharp focus to accuracy and improvement. What youll do Process fortnightly and offcycle payroll Reconcile super, PAYG, leave, and overpayments Resolve payroll queries and support audits Align data between HRIS and Payroll systems Handle terminations, leave, and reporting Improve payroll processes and ensure compliance Support international payroll and partner with HR/Central People Services What were looking for 5+ years payroll experience in regulated environments Proven payroll systems and compliance knowledge Advanced Excel; ADP and Workday preferred Skilled in process improvement and stakeholder management Detailoriented, analytical, and adaptable Whats in it for you?
