We''re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.About the opportunityThe Workplace Rehabilitation Provider is responsible for assessing the rehabilitation needs of injured employees immediately following an injury and facilitating earliest possible return to work. You will develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation and return to work plans, liaise with medical/treating practitioners, service providers, workplace managers and claims officers.This is a 12-months Fixed Term opportunityAn opportunity to own your own portfolioWe work flexibly with three office/site days and two work from home days per weekValid driver''s licence requiredWhat you''ll deliver with usAssess an injured employee''s capability to undertake a rehabilitation program, including conducting initial rehabilitation assessments and work site assessmentsDesign, develop and manage return to work programs tailored to an individual''s rehabilitation needs, including monitoring approved sub-contracted services considered necessaryProvide professional advice as required for occupational rehabilitation, injury management and prevention, including participation in case conferences and reviews of complex claimsEnsure compliance with the Australia Post Group and Comcare''s rehabilitation procedures and standardsAbout youYou are a values driven rehabilitation professional who genuinely cares about supporting people through recovery and return to work. You bring a collaborative and solutions focused mindset, with the ability to influence and negotiate across a diverse, national workforce.You''ll Also NeedTertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Physiology, with eligibility for relevant professional association membershipDemonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation and case management, with proven return to work outcomesExperience conducting workplace and rehabilitation assessments, and developing tailored return to work plansEligibility for membership of relevant professional associationPrevious Comcare case management experience (highly regarded)How we''ll deliver for youHybrid work model (between the office, travel to relevant work sites and being based at home)Be part of a collaborative as well as autonomous work environmentManage own portfolio of workWe''re delivering togetherOur diverse and inclusive workplaces bring out the best in our people.
