Journalist

The Danish News Agency Ritzaus Bureau is seeking journalists in Sydney, Australia. We are looking for journalists to cover the Danish news flow during the nighttime in Denmark. Ritzaus Bureau currently has five employees stationed in Sydney monitoring both Danish and international news and producing news in Danish. Our Sydney employees cover both national and international matters, crime, politics, sport, and business everything our customers need to stay on top of the news cycle around the clock. The positions are a 2-year tenure and require a perfect command of the Danish language and extensive knowledge of Danish society and circumstances in general. Qualifications Fluency in Danish Extensive knowledge of Danish society All-round knowledge of international matters, sport, business, crime, and politics Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in written Danish Ability to produce short radio broadcasts Excellent collaboration skills High degree of independence Tasks Monitoring of both Danish and international news agencies/media/websites and prioritising the most important news Production of online news primarily, but sometimes also print Production of a morning brief ready for our customers early in the morning Danish time Production of broadcast news We look forward to receiving your application and CV.
