Social Strategist 1000heads APAC Sydney/Melbourne1000heads APAC is looking for a Strategist to join our Strategy, Data & Social team, working from Sydney or Melbourne and supporting clients across the APAC region. The role works closely with the Social Strategy Director and Senior Strategist to deliver socialfirst, insightled thinking.The role spans strategy and insights, shaping the why behind our work and translating research, data, and platform understanding into clear strategies, frameworks, and content direction across campaigns and alwayson social activity.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and support comprehensive socialfirst strategies for clients.Create social frameworks, content pillars, and rollout plans for client campaigns.Conduct research and insights generation (competitive audits, category research, cultural trend mapping).Analyse performance data, visualise insights beyond basic Excel, and report using Excel and Google Slides.Interpret data to provide strategic recommendations for optimisation.Build clear strategic narratives and write creative briefs that inspire internal teams and clients.Collaborate crossfunctionally with creative, data, account, and other strategy teams to ensure alignment.Participate in strategic planning sessions and support knowledge sharing within the strategy team.Requirements35 years of experience in social media strategy or planning.Strong strategic thinking, problemsolving, storytelling and presentation skills.Deep understanding of major social media platforms and their strategic applications.Experience developing social content strategies, campaign frameworks, and measuring performance backed by audience and platform data.Ability to interpret and apply data insights and create actionable recommendations.Familiarity with social listening platforms and audience analysis tools (Global Web Index, etc.).Adaptability to work across various industries and client types.Attention to detail and ability to spot flaws or mistakes in methods, reports and plans.Benefits & About 1000heads1000heads combines expertise in data & analytics, strategy, technology and creativity to help the world''s best businesses build Social Age brands.
