You''ll be the expert product, fully understanding briefs, contributing to wholistic digital strategies and delivering the highest excellence in implementation planning and buying, spanning Programmatic, Search, Social and E-Comm, powered by data, technology, and automation, ensuring client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, efficient, and future facing way.You''ll benefit from a collaborative environment full of experts who have deep hands-on implementation experience and are keen to share insights about campaign strategy and delivering outstanding results. Your role will be to lead the Team, with overall responsibility for the direction, workflow and quality of Implementation Planning and Buying.Key ResponsibilitiesOpenly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders and report regularlyHold regular performance evaluation meetings with reports throughout the year, setting SMART KPIs and creating a clear career development plan with themReview your team''s training needs to ensure their career plans are aligned to their progression. Responsible for training and development of all members of the teamOversee workflow between all members of the team and escalate any issuesEstablish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiativesProvide innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client''s business, industry and competitorsClear understanding of the in-scope services of your clients and the process for completing work above and beyondWork collaboratively with Media and/or platform partners, ensuring strong relationships are developed from the outset and you understand their offerings and relevance to our clientsConfident in knowledge of media planning principles and able to utilise agency and industry tools to support planned recommendationsSupport the development of media plans, including media plan reconciliation, and the update of plan changes, to ensure accuracyEnhance on-going campaign optimisation to improve business objectives, such as ROAS and CPA, across a range of touchpointsComplete and maintain all Performance platform certifications (Search, Display, Mobile, Video, Commerce)Use data within platforms to provide insights for client teams to use across other marketing and advertising channelsEnsure all reporting is clear, jargon-free and insightful for clientsAble to construct and present robust Implementation plans grounded in strategic prioritiesBring innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the marketEnsure all financial and compliance processes are followed with accuracy, including bookings and loadingsResponsible for the overall delivery of client trading KPIsCollaborate closely with your Manager to identify and showcase examples of great work from within the teamBuild the agency''s reputation by contributing to entries for awards and competitionsContribute to thought leadership across the agency''s owned assets (Website, Social, EDMs, etc.)Share relevant commentary internally for the broader agencyBe a positive face of the agency at industry eventsDevelop market-leading profile via strong relationships internally and externallySkills And ExperienceExperience leading a teamPassion for Search, Social, Programmatic, E-Comm, Data and Tech, with extensive agency experienceStrong, up-to-date media landscape knowledge and ability to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trendsHighly skilled communicator with excellent presentation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsCollaborative and astute able to build trust and respect within a networkFirst-class negotiation skillsResults driven with the ability to articulate what''s working and whySeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing and SalesAdvertising ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Havas Media Australia by 2xGet notified about new Digital Director jobs in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.We''re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
