About the Team DoorDash is looking for a Manager to join our Strategy & Operations, Dasher & Logistics team. The Strategy & Operations team at DoorDash works crossfunctionally, makes strategic decisions and executes initiatives to ensure DoorDash meets its ambitious objectives. While there is no typical day for our Strategy and Operations roles, you will work on a variety of tasks such as gathering and analysing data, translating your insights into a highlevel vision and operational plan, delivering the plan, innovating and getting better every day, both by "do-ing" and leading crossfunctional teams. About the Role We are hiring a Manager to lead our Dasher & Logistics team covering Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for ensuring every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and creates a positive Consumer, Merchant and Dasher Experience. The Dasher & Logistics team owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher life cycle ranging from supply & demand, to cost & quality, Dasher retention and operating our logistics platform. This role will be responsible for metrics like delivery times, delivery efficiency, delivery quality and Dasher compensation. The role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and is hybrid, with 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Responsibilities Report to the Head of Dx in ANZ and act as a critical member of the Australia Dx Team, having direct reports and contributing to decisions impacting Dashers, Consumers, Merchants and DoorDashs interests. Strategise and develop right strategies to build our Dasher cohort and service our customers in Australia using marketleading knowledge or first principles. Analyse operational and financial impacts of decisions, iterating based on data and accessing a deep data lake of realtime information across local and international markets. Experiment and transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable outcomes, informing longterm plans and building a playbook of success. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing, product, sales and operations. Qualifications 8+ years of experience consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics valued. Strong business acumen able to identify "so what" from data and interdependencies between teams, translating into operational strategy. Detailoriented structured problem solver loves data to inspire action. Exceptional crossfunctional leadership comfortable in a highly visible role, influencing effectively and setting the pace. Strong operational drive customerobsessed, breaking barriers to serve Customers, Merchants and Dashers.
