This is the chance to join right as the takes off. More About the Role at Saxton The Event Logistics Manager is part the Event Logistics team. This role will see you working closely with the Sales and Finance teams and directly with both our clients and speakers. The role is to assist with the contract generation, invoicing, finalising of details for event bookings and general finance duties. It will ensure smooth and effective communication between the offices that comprise Saxton and supporting those offices when required. The Event Logistics Manager will at all times ensure that their behaviour and method of doing business, meets and exceeds the companys values, code of ethics and obligations. Further they will be honest and trustworthy, respectful, possessed of cultural awareness and sensitivity, be flexible, and demonstrate sound work ethics. They will be well presented, friendly and well spoken. You will also be able to multi-task and work under pressure. On occasions there will be out of hours work. Duties: Sales Consultants handle the enquiry until the potential client confirms they are moving forward and booking the speaker. From this point, the booking is passed to the ELM team who will: - Prepare all booking paperwork, contracts, invoices and the like; - Coordinate all logistics to do with speaker travel, accommodation, transfers and the like; - Pass final Contract Paperwork back to the Consultant for final approval before dispatch in accordance with defined ELM procedures and deadlines; - Handle implementing any logistical changes which may occur in between date of contract and event; - Keep Consultant informed and updated if there are changes. - General finance duties. - Organising resources from multi-parties both internally and externally Knowledge and skills: - Sound computer skills and in particular the Microsoft office suite of programs. - Analytical and problem solving skills. - Decision making skills. - Effective verbal and listening communications skills and be sensitive or assertive based on what the situation demands. - Time management skills.
