Position Overview Were seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Manager to lead engineering activities across Intiums project portfolio. In this pivotal role, youll manage the scope, programme and budget of complex engineering projects, ensuring timely and costeffective delivery. Youll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee design documentation and drive innovation while upholding high standards of quality, compliance and constructability. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence project outcomes, challenge conventional approaches and contribute to largescale infrastructure and energy transition initiatives. About You You are a strategic thinker with a passion for design excellence and a strong commercial mindset. About Your Skills You bring exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts to diverse audiences. You balance design aspirations with technical, financial and business constraints, and have a strong grasp of research, analysis and usercentred design. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering, project management or demonstrated capability through relevant experience and/or qualifications. Desired Experience Proven experience in design management, particularly on largescale infrastructure or energy transition projects. Indepth knowledge of HV substations, transmission design, grid connection requirements, renewable energy and EVCI technologies. Strong understanding of Australian and International Standards and Codes of Practice. Practical experience in design and construction, including safety in design and costefficiency strategies. Ability to manage complex tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
