DescriptionAdministration Coordinator, School of MedicineSydney Campus Full-time opportunity, fixed-term contract until March 2027Friendly and collaborative work environmentRewarding opportunity offering career developmentLevel 6 from $102, % super About the universityThe University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Catholic University with over 1,000 permanent staff providing an exceptional educational experience to over 12,000 students across our Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses, as well as clinical schools in Victoria and New South Wales.About the roleYou will lead an effective administration team by performing a variety of administrative duties to support the School in the areas of teaching, learning and research. You will also provide quality support to the School Manager in the effective management and operation of the School.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to administrative staff and provide on the job training and advice to staff.Provide a high level administrative function within School ensuring effective and efficient administrative and project support.Create a range of high level documents including various correspondence, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Provide financial and HR support and advice and ensure budget expenditure is monitored and reported.Provide excellent customer service to students and University stakeholders.Ability to work accurately with detailed information; including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, managing correspondence, collating data for report and under direction prepare a range of written communication.Continuous improvement delivery by reviewing, developing, and implementing enhanced administrative systems and processesQualifications, skills & experienceA Degree qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Proven administration leadership experience in a busy, fluid environment (higher education experience highly regarded).Experience in a financial role including experience in procurement and financial processes.Demonstrated success in the delivery of quality customer service.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people.Demonstrated skills in strategic and project management and the ability to meet competing deadlines.Excellent computer skills including email, internet, MS Office (including SharePoint) and student administration systems.Proven initiative, organisational and attention to detail skills with the demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines.BenefitsFitness Passport on offerGenerous training and development opportunities.Friendly and collaborative working environment.
