What Youll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and support the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) process. Provide technical advice on planning, inspection, and compliance across Defence sites in NSW, ACT, and QLD. Conduct audits, site inspections, and deliver environmental and safety (E&S) training including toolbox talks. Lead the development of inspection regimes, reporting tools, and ensure alignment with Defence and Australian standards. Manage environmental incidents through timely reporting, investigation, and corrective actions. What Youll Bring Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering. ISO 14001 Auditor Certification (recommended). Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance frameworks and WHS requirements. Demonstrated experience in environmental management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance. High-level communication, data analysis, and reporting skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
