As the first point of contact representing the Head of School, this role requires extensive administrative and organizational skills in order to manage a high volume of activity as well as client service skills, tact and diplomacy. Key to the success of the incumbent is their ability to manage and prioritise matters brought to the Head of School and to provide excellent administrative support to academic and professional staff and students.Possible secondment opportunity for internal staff members.Your key responsibilities will be to:Provide broad, high level professional executive support to the Head of School and effectively manage the general day to day office operations and administration activitybuilds and manages effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the Universityprovide project office support for delivery of school projectsprovides school-specific administration services and supportfacilitate ongoing communication with a broad range of stakeholders, proactively addressing any concerns, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve stakeholder relationsmanages the general day to day and administration activities for the Head of School ensures quality application of, and compliance with, University administration policies and procedures.About you :Demonstrates experience with diary management and front-line interaction with visitorsExcellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload to meet multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume environmentexcellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer servicedemonstrates a proactive and positive approach to problem solving and process improvementpossesses excellent skills in the Microsoft suite of productsdemonstrates experience with project or event coordination.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
