Business Services & Tax Manager

About the jobFast-growing International company in Glebe, Polyglot Group is looking for its next business services manager to manage their own portfolio of clients as well as lead a team of 2 Accountants. You will be comfortable in being the first point of contact for clients to advise & service them. You will be supported by your team members reporting directly to you.This role is a handson role and requires the manager to be responsible for the tax, accounting and business compliance work for a diverse and broad international client base.Your main responsibilities and duties will include:Assist the Head of Corporate Services in managing and supervising the Business Solution team and deliveries to clientsBe the first point of contact for all new prospects. Assess their needs, organise proposal and manage the onboarding for new clients prior to delegating to your teamManage ongoing relationship with clientsManage your own portfolio of clients - accounting reporting and tax compliance deliveriesProvide business and tax advice pertaining to your clientsAssist/review preparation of BAS/IAS, FBT and Corporate IT returns as requiredCoordinate preparation of monthly client billingManage your team resources to help you achieve deliverablesDevelopment of internal processes and proceduresAssist the team as an accounting and tax technical resourcePositively contributing to a fast-growing business services company in AustraliaQualificationsCPA qualification or equivalentTax agent (not mandatory but prefered)Skills and ExperienceExperience in a similar role within the business services environmentExcellent working knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislationExperience in dealing with international businessesStrong time management skillsStrong client service skillsExperience in using Xero, Windows Excel, Windows Word, and MYOB will be a plusStrong communication skillsStrong team player who is eager to learn new tasks, systems, processes and softwareWHAT''S IN FOR YOU?Hybrid work 3 days from the office and 2 days from homeSponsorship AvailableProfit Sharing participationOpen, friendly and motivating cultureInclusive and multicultural environmentOpportunities to develop and progress locally or internationallyLocated just outside the CBD, walking distance to the Fish Market, in Glebe.
