The OpportunityWe are looking for a detail-orientated and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney office! This position is ideal for someone who has a strong attention to detail and is committed to delivering exceptional service. You''ll work in a collaborative environment where your problemsolving skills, ability to prioritise, and passion for continuous learning will help drive efficiency and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.What you''ll doAccurately and promptly enter invoices into the system.Process daily and weekly payment runs for domestic and international suppliers.Ensure all invoices comply with internal policies and external requirements in line with established procedures.Proactively investigate and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders.Share knowledge and communicate effectively with team members to maintain accurate and consistent processing.Comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations and responsibilities, including supervising and supporting team members to promote a safe and respectful workplace.What you''ll bringStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain Accounts Payable concepts to colleagues outside the Business Finance team.Minimum 2 years'' experience processing invoices, demonstrating quick and accurate data entry.Basic to intermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables.Strong problemsolving ability, with a thorough approach to investigating issues.Proactive in learning new skills to improve performance and efficiency.Highly organised, able to prioritise workload, adapt to challenges, and focus on key priorities.Committed to delivering excellent customer service, considering the entire process when providing assistance.An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.What you can expect from usWe''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
