Named #1 on LinkedIn''s Top Startups Australia 2024, Montu has cemented its position as the largest business of its kind outside North America and continues to evolve on its journey.This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.Job DescriptionThe Senior Content Manager leads a team of medical writers and copywriters, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice and drives engagement and conversion with our primary target audience, Health Care Professionals (HCPs).The role is responsible for leading the content strategy and execution across all marketing channels within a regulated medical/healthcare environment. This role drives brand authority, lead generation, customer engagement, and education through high-quality, compliant, and evidence-based content.This role requires a combination of people leadership, strategic thinking, strong attention to detail, healthcare industry knowledge, regulatory awareness, and strong storytelling skills to deliver impactful content that supports growth.Content Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute a content strategy aligned with commercial objectives.Lead content planning across product lines, brands, and campaigns, managing the content calendar across digital and offline channels.Define key audience segments, with a primary focus on HCPs, ensuring content supports the customer journey from awareness, through conversion, to retention.Run workshops and ideation sessions to support campaign and content development.Establish content standards, style guides, and quality benchmarks.Conduct research (industry trends, customer needs, competitors) in partnership with marketing leads to inform strategy.Content Development & QualityOversee the production of high-quality content, including eDMs, sales materials, clinical education, onsite content, articles, blog posts, social media posts, video content, and other channels.Proofreading all content for accuracy and tone of voice alignment.Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Legal, and Regulatory teams for content review and approvals, ensuring medical and regulatory compliance. Translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, engaging, audience-appropriate communications.Collaborate with technical writers and the clinical teams to ensure content resonates with a medical audience.Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationLead, mentor, and manage medical writers, copywriters, and external resources (agencies, freelancers, SMEs).Work closely with the Workflow Manager to coordinate team capacity, workload, and timelines.Contribute to Commercial Marketing leadershipremoving roadblocks, improving processes, and identifying resourcing needs.Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Compliance, CRM, and Leadership teams to ensure content supports business goals, product launches, and campaigns.Partner with broader Montu content teams to identify opportunities for alignment and synergy.Performance, Compliance & Continuous ImprovementAnalyse content performance and apply insights to optimise strategy, effectiveness, and engagement.Ensure all content complies with medical accuracy, TGA requirements, and internal approval processes.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and content marketing innovations.Uphold brand, regulatory, and quality standards by iterating work based on feedback.Set team OKRs/KPIs, monitor performance metrics (including customer satisfaction/NPS), and support professional development, inclusivity, and high standards of conduct.QualificationsProven experience in content marketing, including developing and executing effective B2B content strategies, within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other regulated/health industries.Strong leadership capability, with experience building and managing highperforming teams.Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated, crossfunctional environment.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with outstanding attention to detail and commitment to brand and quality standards.Demonstrated ability to deliver content that drives engagement and measurable business outcomes, supported by a strong analytical mindset and datadriven decision making.Skilled in stakeholder management, collaborating across Marketing, Medical, Compliance, and Commercial teams.Proficient with CMS platforms, analytics tools, and project management software, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Strategic thinker and proactive problemsolver, comfortable in fastpaced environments and committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.Additional InformationYou''ll be joining a high-performing, fast-paced team where your work drives meaningful impact in a leading tech company at the intersection of healthcare.
