Sound NSW aims to nurture creative careers, encourage innovation, enhance export opportunities, and create positive outcomes for artists, industry professionals, music businesses, and audiences.About the roleThe Music Project Coordinator supports the development and delivery of policy and project initiatives that strengthen and grow the contemporary music industry across NSW.Working as part of Sound NSW, you will provide practical project coordination support to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered on time and within scope. This includes managing documentation, tracking progress, and supporting the smooth administration of programs and initiatives from start to finish.The role also involves preparing and coordinating a wide range of written materials, such as reports, briefing notes, governance papers and presentations, ensuring complex information is clear and accurate for different audiences. You will build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators across the NSW Government as well as music industry stakeholders, providing relevant advice and information, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of strategies, policies and projects. Trusted relationships within the sector will be highly regarded, as will your ability to engage constructively with a wide range of stakeholders across industry, government and community settings.You are confident coordinating multiple projects at once, often involving significant budgets, competing priorities and tight deadlines. You can anticipate and manage sensitive or contentious issues with sound judgement, and provide clear, accurate advice in a timely way.
