Electronics Technician

Reports To:Operations ManagerResponsibilities:To work according to Production Managers directionWrite work instructions as required.Functional testing.In-circuit testing.Trouble shooting of faulty Modules.Repair of faulty product.Testing of final product.To test and visually inspect to work instructions and procedures.To recognise and quarantine non-conforming product.To maintain production and quality records as required.To keep work area clean and tidy.To observe safety rules.Must be able use a broad range of electronic equipment.Must be able to solder, de-solder and identify all electronic components.To be able to assist in R&D work.To conduct activities in a safe, quality and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with Aldridge Traffic Controllers Quality, OH&S and Environmental policies and procedures.Adhering to the guidelines set forth in the Code of PracticeAuthority:To stop production on the occurrence of non-conformance and immediately advise Manager.To stop production if any of the testers require maintenance or repair.Providing technical guidance and feedback within the scope of work to inspection personnel.Preferred Qualifications:Associate Diploma/Certificate in Engineering-Electronics would be beneficial.Proved work experiences in an electronic manufacturing environment, good computer skills and good communication skills.Experience in Electronics repairs to component level.Yunex Traffic is a proud equal opportunity employer, creating a work environment of diversity and inclusion.
