You will ensure that laboratories and teaching environments are safe, well-maintained, and equipped with the necessary apparatus and chemicals. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing science teaching resources, calibrating and maintaining analytical laboratory equipment, managing chemical inventories in compliance with safety standards, and providing related administrative and technical support to enable high-quality learning experiences.About You To be successful for this position, you will need to possess:A Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Chemistry or a relevant Chemical Sciences discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experienceA strong industry background in chemical sciences, chemistry education or similarStrong experience in preparing working solutions and safe handling of hazardous chemicalsDevelopment and verifications of methodsKnowledge and hands on experience (troubleshooting) of instrumentation and techniques related to chemical analysis including chromatography (GC, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS), spectrophotometry (MP-OES, UV, UV-VIS, IR, AAS), auto titrator, refractometry, and viscometerA valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).A career of life-changing impact awaits you.
