Anyone can use Domo to prepare, analyze, visualize, automate, and build data products that are amplified by AI.POSITION SUMMARYWorking as a member of Domo''s Client Services team, the Senior Technical Consultant will lead the implementation of value-driven, high-impact customer solutions. The successful candidate will have multiple years working directly with external customers providing data-driven solutions. This individual will join an enthusiastic, fast-paced and dynamic team at Domo. A successful candidate will have demonstrated sustained exceptional performance, innovation, creativity, insight, and good judgment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own end to end deployment processes for implementing/optimising the Domo platform for customers;Manages relationships with Domo customers;Works with customers, end-users, technical analyst, and application designers to define and document the data requirements, business requirements, setup, deployment, and rollout plan of Business Intelligence initiatives in Domo; Mentor/coach partner and internal resources;Leads all communications and project management duties for multiple customer projects including building solutions in Domo, driving customer data maturity, and teaching best practice data strategies;Leads discovery sessions with C-suite individuals to identify solutions and data strategies;Recognises business problems and recommends/develops solutions;Expertly and artfully manages customer expectations;Designs, analyses, and helps build customer data pipelines for ingestion into Domo;Develops, designs, and optimises SQL queries;Develop strategies for connecting to new data sources for customers.JOB REQUIREMENTS8+ years of consulting experience supporting business intelligence systems, or in a software product/industry;Expert SQL skills;Expertise with Windows and Linux environments;Expertise with at least one of the following database technologies and familiarity with the others: relational, columnar and NoSQL (i.e. MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica, MongoDB);Understanding of data modelling skills (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design);Experience dealing with large data sets;Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications);API testing experience with Postman or similar tool;Goal oriented with strong attention to detail;Proven experience in effectively partnering with business teams to deliver their goals and outcomes;Bachelor''s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred OR equivalent professional experience;Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity;Ability to learn and adapt quickly to varied and changing requirements;Thrive in a fast-paced environment;Work independently and manage engagements with multiple customers;Strong client-facing presence (confident, assertive, kind, listening, articulate, professional);Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents;Strong organisational and project management skills.NICE TO HAVEExperience with programming and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, .Net, C#, VBA, HTML, CSS);Working knowledge of API Architectures (REST, SOAP, RPC, GraphQL);Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2);Experience defining scope and requirements for projects;Experience with statistical methodologies;Experience with a wide variety of business data (Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc);Experience with Large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite.VIEW OUR BENEFITSDomo is an equal opportunity employer
