The ideal candidate will oversee our mechanical operations, lead a team of mechanics, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our automotive repair and maintenance services.Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanicsAssign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance projectsConduct quality control inspections on all completed work to maintain high standardsTroubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to team membersDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for various vehicles and equipmentManage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levelsEnforce safety protocols and procedures in the workshopTrain and mentor junior mechanics to improve their skills and performanceCollaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiencyPrepare and maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and labor hoursStay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniquesQualifications5+ years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various vehicle types and systemsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectivelyExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in computer systems and maintenance management softwareThorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an automotive workshopExperience with heavy equipment repair a plusDemonstrated expertise in quality control and inspection proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics #J-18808-Ljbffr
