The organisation''s work is grounded in evidence and lived experience, partnering with people with asthma to design solutions, influence policy and improve health outcomes so people can live freely, unrestricted by asthma.Benefits & CultureJoin a purpose-driven national health charity creating tangible impact for people with asthmaSpecialist role in a purpose-led organisation with flexible working optionsCollaborative, values-led culture grounded in evidence, inclusion and lived experienceThe RoleReporting to the Director of Development, this role will lead and grow Trusts & Foundations income as a core pillar of Asthma Australia''s revenue strategy, while also contributing to the development of a future-focused Gifts in Wills program to strengthen long-term sustainability.Key responsibilities include:Contribute to the Trusts & Foundations strategy, budget and growth targetsIdentify, research and cultivate Trusts & Foundations aligned to organisational prioritiesLead high-quality grant submissions, proposals and acquittalsDevelop compelling cases for support and impact narratives for institutional fundersBuild and steward long-term partnerships with Trusts & FoundationsMaintain robust pipeline management, forecasting and reportingCollaborate across fundraising, marketing and service delivery to align funding with impactSkills RequiredYou bring demonstrated experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising, with strong capability in translating organisational strategy and impact into compelling institutional funding propositions.You will also bring:Proven experience in prospect research, strong grant writing, proposal development and acquittal reportingStrong institutional pipeline management, forecasting and reporting capabilityExperience designing integrated donor engagement strategiesHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship managementStrategic mindset with learning agility and evidence-based decision makingDigital fundraising or CRM/marketing automation exposureExperience in legacy giving, bequests or Gifts in Wills programs is highly regarded.If you''re passionate about building long-term impact and sustainability for people living with asthma, please apply by submitting your cover letter responding to the skills required above, along with your resume quoting ref To request a full information package please email: (no applications here please).Please note there is no formal closing date for this role, if you are interested, we would encourage you to apply as soon as possible.NGO Recruitment values equitable recruitment practices and is committed to representing candidates reflective of the diverse organisations and communities we work with.
