Legal Counsel

You will be joining a highly-regarded Australian investment manager as a Legal Counsel with an opportunity for development with complex legal work in a growing legal team in Sydney.The RoleReporting to a senior legal leader, this role will provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across the business, supporting both existing products and new initiatives.You will work closely with investment, distribution and operations teams and be involved in a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.Key Responsibilities IncludeAdvising on funds management and financial services law mattersSupporting new product development and changes to existing structuresDrafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and investment-related agreementsAssisting with fund documentation, disclosures and marketing materialsMonitoring and advising on regulatory developments impacting the businessSupporting governance frameworks and managing legal riskLiaising with external counsel as requiredAbout You2-4 years'' PQE, gained in a top or mid-tier law firm and/or in-houseSolid experience in funds management/financial servicesStrong drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, commercial adviceAdmitted in Australia and holding a current practising certificateAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.To apply please click apply or call Phoebe Garrett on for a confidential discussion.
