Legal Officer 3/4Temporary Full-Time up to 3 years (with possibility of extension)ParramattaAbout usThe NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative employees who support the sworn officers that provide a range of law and order services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the socially, geographically and culturally diverse community of NSW.About the roleWe have an opportunity for a Lawyer to be part of our Subpoena Objections Team. Reporting to the Principal Lawyer, the role is responsible for the provision of high quality, ethical and professional legal representation, advice and support relating to various orders, or other requests, for information to the Commissioner of Police, in particular, subpoenas to produce. The requests will arise across a range of State and Federal jurisdictions in potentially factually interesting and legally complex matters. This position will be part of a new team within InfoLink Command, Office of General Counsel.
