Reporting to the General Counsel, you''ll provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice that supports safe, compliant and values-led operations. You''ll act as the division''s Data Protection Officer and lead regulatory governance. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you''ll help us stay ahead of emerging risks and regulatory change while supporting meaningful work that serves governments and communities.As a Legal Director Regulatory in the ASPAC team, you''ll make a positive impact by:Leading data protection and privacy compliance as Division DPODeveloping and strengthening governance and compliance frameworksAdvising leaders on regulatory risk, ethics and corporate obligationsProviding counsel to the GM for Health Safety and EnvironmentManaging regulator engagement, investigations and reporting processesSupporting bids and major initiatives with clear, risk-based and commercial adviceSerco is a place for youYou could be a great fit if you have:10+ years'' experience in data privacy, and health and safety regulatory frameworksProven experience managing regulatory inquiries and investigationsAbility to provide commercially minded, practical legal adviceConfidence influencing senior stakeholders and executive teamsA current unrestricted practising certificate and Bachelor of LawsKnowledge of ITAR would be advantageous but not essentialIn joining us, you''ll be part of a highly supportive culture with trusted leaders that will help you achieve your goals.
