Product Developer

The Product Developer will lead the development of innovative snacks from ideation through commercialisation. This handson role blends formulation expertise with project leadership and crossfunctional collaboration.Client DetailsOur client is a pioneering healthfocused food business committed to creating nutritious, greattasting snack products. They are known for their commitment to excellence in their products and services, as well as their focus on innovation and quality.DescriptionDevelop new healthy snack formulations from concept to final product.Conduct handson benchtop formulation, prototype development, and optimisation.Analyse ingredient interactions including proteins, fibres, sweeteners, binders, fats, and functional additives.Lead lab testing including texture analysis, water activity, stability, and shelflife validation.Manage sensory evaluations and formulations based on results and feedback.Ensure compliance with nutritional, regulatory, and quality standards working closely with the QA&Regulatory Manager.Work closely with comanufacturers across APAC to scale products from lab to production and provide technical support during trials.Manage multiple NPD projects and collaborate with Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Procurement.Maintain accurate technical documentation, formulations, and project records.ProfileA Successful Product Developer Should HaveBachelor''s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.Minimum 5 year''s experience in product development ideally within snacks, bakery, or functional foods.Strong understanding of protein systems, carbohydrates, binders, and functional ingredients.Strong handson laboratory and bench top formulation experience.Previous experience collaborating with thirdparty manufacturers.Excellent project management, communication, and problemsolving skills.A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and healthier food product development.Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.Job OfferCompetitive salary packageRelocation assistance for the right candidatePermanent position with career growth opportunitiesA chance to work in a supportive and innovative team environment.If you are passionate about product development and eager to make an impact in the retail industry, we encourage you to apply todayTo apply online please click the ''Apply'' button below.
