Placement Director - Property and Casualty, Pacific Region

DescriptionWe are seeking a senior member for the Australian Property and Casualty Broking/Placement team. The role includes managing placement requirements for clients and developing new markets and products. The candidate will also assist in converting prospects, identifying market opportunities, and retaining clients. This position is based in Melbourne and supports the Victorian and New South Wales markets, as well as clients across Australia and New Zealand.The RoleYou will apply your in-depth knowledge of both domestic and overseas market appetite for Property and Casualty risks to:Advise clients on the best access points for key insurers.Balance placements between markets to achieve sustainability and optimum pricing.Set and drive broking strategy in collaboration with client relationship directors, servicers, and advocates.Assist in driving strategy for tender responses and represent broking in client and insurer presentation.Assist client servicers in managing and meeting client expectations.QualificationsThe RequirementsYou possess strong market advocacy skills and excel at client/carrier relationship development.You have considerable experience in Property and Casualty broking and servicing of complex clients, supported by relevant qualifications and commercial acumen.Your in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty products and classes enables you to focus on delivering exceptional service.As a strategic thinker, you demonstrate leadership, ownership, and collaborative qualities.You have strong technical and analytical capabilities.Your oral and written communication skills are outstandingwhether you are communicating one-on-one or to a group, you stand out from the crowd.You possess drive, ambition, and a focus on excellence.If you believe you have the skills and passion for this role but dont meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
