This involves supporting weekly payments for employees and verifying their accuracy. You will also assist with compliance obligations related to third-party payments and help manage inquiries from employees and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Data entry for new starters, employee changes and terminationsSupporting end-to-end weekly payroll processing within a team environment using the Preceda payroll systemReview of the Time & Attendance data feedLeave calculations including parental, long service, annual, sick & workers comp etc.Assist with month end and year end tasksAward interpretation supportRotate around to different payrolls to cover absencesAssisting with payroll queries and enquiries as required through our payroll ticketing system (JIRA) or by email/phoneAssist with reconciliation of payrolls on a monthly and rolling YTD basisAssist with the reconciliation of superannuation and payroll taxBe involved in the EOM/EOFY processes per timetableConstant review of payroll processes and procedures, ensuring operational excellence of the payroll departmentKey Experience & Competencies:12 years'' experience in a payroll position (high-volume experience is ideal)Prior experience using Preceda and/or Workday Payroll software (highly regarded but not essential)Great attention to detailExperience in a complex, dynamic business with multiple sites across Australia (advantageous)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalFoundational knowledge of payroll and tax legislation, ideally EBAs and AwardsStrong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skillsA certificate or diploma in Payroll would be highly regardedIntermediate Excel skills using formulas (Pivot tables advantageous)Looking for your next step in your payroll careerWhy work for Hungry Jack''s?This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in payroll amongst a supportive, large team.
