You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of orthopaedic subspecialties including; joint replacement and revision surgery (hip, knee, Shoulder), complex spine procedures.Reporting to the Operating Suite Nurse Unit Manager, you will be supported to thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and highly skilled perioperative environment. Our large perioperative service supports 20 modern operating theatres, offering exposure to a varied and rewarding caseload while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centred, best-practice care.What we are looking forCurrent AHPRA registration with 2-3years'' experienceas a scrub/scout NurseDemonstrated experience withintheOrthopaedic surgeries - Sound knowledge of orthopaedic instrumentation, implants, and prosthesesAbility to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a sterile field throughout proceduresFlexibility to work across a range of shifts including morning and eveningsEffective coordination of theatre workflow and case preparationThe ability to use your initiative and critical problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalAbout UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
