The successful applicant will independently manage prostheses, inventory and equipment to provide an efficient, accurate and complete supply chain service to the hospital as directed and ensure rebate codes and consumable data is accurate on the Patient administration system.About UsNepean Private Hospital is in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Key to the hospital''s success is a highly skilled and expert team of staff who are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities.As a Prosthesis Coordinator Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeUtilisation of Procurement and Patient administration software to monitor & manage stock, orders and receipt of prosthesis itemsAccurate Data entry to ensure prosthesis are tracked for each procedureManagement of stock par levels, consignment stockReconciliation of backorders, including organising alternate prosthetic product where necessaryEnsure use of supplies and products matches operational activity & billingManaging short-dated stock in conjunction with the clinical team to ensure loss to hospital is minimisedLiaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate stock tracking, management and usageCommunication with suppliers to reduce issues and mismatched itemsEssential CriteriaWorking knowledge of Procurement ordering systems & Patient administration systemsComputer Literacy & an understanding of Microsoft office suiteKnowledge of prosthesis and the companies involved in their supply and manufactureUnderstanding of inventory follow-up functionsExcellent customer service skillsSelf-directed and motivated with the ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlinesDesirable CriteriaPrior experience within the theatre environment and knowledge of the prosthesis management processPrior experience using Tech1 and WebPASStrong Understanding of health fund billing and contract processPrior knowledge of medical terminology and productsApplications close: 10 th March 2026More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority.
