With 85 inpatient beds, it is a dedicated mental health facility offering comprehensive inpatient, day, and outpatient programs. The hospital provides specialised psychiatric and psychological treatments for a wide range of mental health conditions.Kellyville Private Hospital is distinguished by its dedicated youth mental health program, providing modern, innovative accommodation for adolescents with drug, alcohol, depression, and anxiety disorders.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care within a hospital setting, treating and admitting new patients and managing voluntarily admitted patients. This includes, but is not limited to:Overseeing the treatment plans and care of a manageable number of admitted inpatients, with support from the multidisciplinary team.Reviewing inpatients as acuity requires and at a minimum of three days per week.Undertaking admission referrals to Mental Health Day Programs and reviewing day patients, depending on risk and acuity.Providing referrer discharge summaries and advice in writing and via phone in a timely manner, especially when a shared care model is in place.Attending all Clinical Governance Hospital committees as invited or requested.Liaising with the Mental Health Intake team regarding complex admission requests and new admissions.Undertaking clinical duties within the scope of practice, in line with the Hospital CEOs request.Requirements:Specialist APRHA registration, and Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a relevant visa.Enquiries: 0498 378 844Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeOtherJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesMental Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
