Head of Construction

Overview Location: New South Wales, Australia El Jannah is seeking a Head of Construction to lead the planning, design and delivery of all new restaurant builds, upgrades and refurbishments across corporate and franchise sites. From greenfield developments to rebranding projects, youll ensure every build is on time, on budget, and up to spec so our teams can focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences from day one. What Youll Do Lead end-to-end restaurant construction projects, meeting timelines, budgets and brand standards Oversee architects, engineers, contractors and certifiers Manage construction pipelines, schedules, risks and updates to senior leadership Drive cost planning, tendering, procurement and contract negotiations Ensure compliance with WHS, NCC/BCA and all relevant codes and standards Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Manage post-completion, warranty issues and seamless handovers to operations What Were Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or similar Minimum 7 years experience in a senior construction leadership role, ideally in QSR, retail or hospitality Proven track record delivering multi-site build programs Strong commercial acumen in contracts, procurement and budgeting Hands-on leadership style with excellent stakeholder management skills WHS certification and strong regulatory knowledge Why Join Us At El Jannah, we live our values every day: Welcoming Guests and people first Authenticity Quality, generosity and flavour in everything we do Fun-loving A place people love to be True teamwork Were better together Youll be part of a brand thats expanding quickly, where your work will shape our growth and guest experience.
