Working across Moreton Bay College, Moreton Bay Boys'' College and the Moreton Bay Swimming Club, successful applicants will be part of a clearly defined development and performance pathway that supports swimmers from early skill acquisition through to high-level competitive outcomes.The safety of students is our highest priority, and we are deeply committed to maintaining a safeguarding culture where every student is protected and supported to thrive.HEAD COACH - SWIMMINGThe RoleThe Head Coach - Swimming is responsible for the leadership, coaching and delivery of swimming programs that enhance competitive performance and athletic growth. Working closely with the Head of Aquatics, this role has primary responsibility for the National and Senior Programs while supporting all squads and college swimming initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver high quality coaching programs. The Head Coach - Swimming will primarily be responsible for the National and Senior programmes whilst also assisting across all squads and college swimming.Support and oversee coaching coordination, selection and performance across MBC and MBBC swimming teams.Build strong relationships with students, parents and key stakeholders.Contribute to the development of performance, competition and development pathways.Manage parent engagement with clear, proactive communication.Attend competitions, including weekends, and support meet management as required.Uphold health, safety and safeguarding practices across all activities.About YouYou Will Bring:Proven success in developing athletes at a national level.Strong expertise in biomechanics, stroke models and performance planning.Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.The ability to motivate athletes and manage performance pathways.Essential RequirementsCurrent Swimming Australia Coach Licence (Advanced or Performance endorsement preferred).Positive Notice Blue Card (QLD).Senior First Aid and CPR certification.DEVELOPMENT COACH - SWIMMINGThe RoleThe Development Coach - Swimming focuses on building strong technical foundations and guiding swimmers from skill development into competitive pathways.
