col-wideJob DescriptionEmployment Type: Full Time (35 hours per week)Duration: ContinuingRemuneration: Level 7 from $113,926k + 17% superannuation & leave loadingLocation: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working)Why your role mattersThe Team Leader, Student Records plays a key role in the successful delivery of specialist business processes across all aspects of the student academic record. This includes overseeing the management ofacademic standing, academic progression, appeals, enrolment variations, personal detail changes, transcripts, official documentation and qualification verification.The role requires broad knowledge and expertise in student records, with responsibility for providing expert advice and support, managing complex record and results matters, and undertaking operational processing activities. In addition, the Team Leader will supervise staff where required. This position reports to the Manager, Student Records and has two direct reports.Specific Accountabilities IncludeManage and coordinate the end-of-term processes relating to, academic standing, academic progression and the Re-enrolment Appeals Committees.Develop, maintain and apply a depth of expertise and develop, maintain and provide expert advice on central core student records processes, including academic standing, academic progression, appeals, enrolment variations, changes to personal details, transcripts and official documents and qualification verification to students and the University community.Manage the operation of complex processes with minimum supervision and direction.Maintain a thorough knowledge of and be able to interpret, both existing and new policies and procedures and apply consistently.About YouA relevant tertiary qualification and with a depth of subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and experience.Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases (e.g. CRM).Demonstrated ability to assess programs, develop plans to improve process and efficiency and monitor ongoing progress.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, including setting own workflow and priorities.Proven ability to train and develop staff to deliver a high level of service, to lead and motivate a team, and influence staff that are not direct reports..For further details on role responsibilities and skills & experience required, refer to the position description found under the position listing on Benefits And CulturePeople are at the core of everything we do.
