We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager with a passion for client service excellence to deliver pragmatic M&A solutions to a varied client base as part of our Sydney team, building trust and guiding them through a crucial time in their business journey.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic advice to clients from a range of industries on acquisitions, divestments, private equity transactions and strategic capital raisingsPrepare financial models and valuation materialsManage the transaction process from the initial client discussions to completionActive participation in business development activities, including preparation of proposals, building relationships with existing and target clients and intermediaries, and establishing professional networksSkills and ExperienceQualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)Minimum of five years mergers and acquisitions experience gained in a professional services environmentCommercial acumen including strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skillsProblem-solving skills, approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindsetEffective written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to manage a high-performing team and build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders at all levelsIntermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge or interest in learning data visualisation toolsPerks and Diversity & Inclusion9-day fortnight with no salary reductionFunded professional membership and study assistanceUp to 26 weeks paid parental leave | paid secondary carers leaveFully funded gym membership | Health insurance discountsAnd many more!Application supportWe are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible for anyone who wishes to apply, and we warmly encourage applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders, those in the LGBTQI+ community and individuals who identify as having disability or are neurodivergent.
