We are an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (WGEA) and a member of the Champions of Change Coalition for the advancement of gender equality in Australia.About The TeamThe Risk and Compliance Partner is a senior 1st Line risk role responsible for supporting the Senior Risk and Compliance Partner in the day-to-day management of risk and compliance activities across the division. As a change leader and influencer, you will assist in the further embedment of the operational risk and compliance strategy, the uplift of risk maturity within the Securities and Payments division and ensure risk is considered in key operational decisions and process design. This position would suit someone with experience at an Executive Manager level.What You Will Be DoingGain an in depth understanding of the end-to-end Clearing and Settlement Facilities BusinessesBecome a trusted advisor to the S&P Business teams and SLT on risk, compliance, risk in change and control initiatives and improvementsWork with key senior stakeholders within Securities and Payments and across the ASX to further embed the Operational Risk Management and Compliance FrameworksSupport the delivery of risk and compliance reporting including external regulatory and audit requirementsSupport management in maintaining rich risk data in the ASX GRC systemPerform data analysis and share insights for input into business risk reportingEncourage and facilitate effective use of risk management toolsPartner with the Enterprise Risk Management, Project Risk Management and Enterprise Compliance teams to deliver an integrated approach to risk and complianceWhat You Will BringDeep experience in Risk and Compliance related function preferably within the Financial Services or Energy Industry at an Executive Manager levelDeep experience in all elements of operational risk management e.g. risk assessments, control testing, incident management, obligation management, project risk (essential)An understanding of financial regulatory environmentsDemonstrated the ability to build strong internal relationships including with Senior Leadership TeamExperience with a major risk transformationExperience in interaction at Executive management level of businessesManagement and Board reportingAbility to collaborate and work effectively across teams/ with multiple stakeholders to deliver a common goalFoster a culture of knowledge sharing and continual learningCritical thinking with an analytical approachDemonstrate business acumenCommunication skills excellent oral, written and presentationNice To HaveUnderstanding of different financial productsUnderstanding of project methodologiesExperience in influencing risk cultureKnowledge of BCP/disaster recovery frameworksStrong Operations process related knowledgeWe make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how youll help us to live our values.
