Program Director - Financial Crime

Sydney based Big 4 Bank is seeking a Program Director for a Financial Crime Transformation program.The Financial Crime Transformation program will transform the way the bank manages financial crime risk to meet new challenges in an ever-changing landscape. The program will include modern technology (including AI) and improve processes, operating models, ways of working and data solutions to swiftly mitigate significant financial crime risks.Role: Program Director for a multi-year Financial Crime Operations Transformation Program.Scope: End-to-end transformation across technology, operations, and people (e.g. workflow automation, AI, new operating model, people capability uplift).Investment: $50m+ over multiple years, delivering significant hard benefitsOutcomes: Efficiency, improved risk management, reduced operational risk, enhanced regulatory reporting, and uplifted intelligenceDelivery: Agile execution via 57 scrum teamsLeadership: Drives transformation agenda, mobilises teams, influences across the organisation, brings people on the journey and leads strategic deliveryPeople: Embeds new ways of working and leads organisational changeDecisions: Significant technology and solution architecture decisions openThe right person will ideally have sound experience with operational transformation that is supported by technology people, process and technology change ideally this will be within Financial Crime.The role will be either a 2 year fixed term contract with the view to extend to permanent or they may consider permanent for the right candidate.Paying circa $240 - $250K + super + generous bonus.
