Director Precinct Coordination & Stakeholder EngagementJoin to apply for the Director Precinct Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement role at NSW Department of Planning, Housing and InfrastructureOverviewAs Director, Precinct Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement, you will lead the strategic and operational management of the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. This role ensures the seamless coordination of high-profile events, provides operational advice to support infrastructure delivery, and manages day-to-day precinct operations with a focus on public safety and security while balancing diverse stakeholder expectations.ResponsibilitiesManage the precinct operations for Sydney Olympic Parks public spaces and parklands, including major events coordination, safety and security, traffic management, stakeholder engagement, communication and mediaLead interagency collaboration to influence major event and infrastructure outcomes in alignment with the precincts master plan and regulatory frameworksRepresent the Authority across interagency forums, manage operational risks, and deliver integrated precinct outcomesLead and develop teams to ensure operational excellence and a high-quality customer experience during major events and precinct activationsRole DetailsFull time temporary role until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of an extensionSydney Olympic Park location with hybrid working supportedTRP from $225K to $249K including superannuation, commensurate with experienceAbout YouYou are a seasoned executive with deep expertise in precinct operations, major event coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You should have leadership experience in urban parks, leisure venues, or event precincts, with qualifications and experience in risk, security, and crisis management. You should be able to influence and negotiate across government, commercial, and community sectors, and thrive in complex, fast-paced environments with a strategic yet operational mindset. Your leadership should be collaborative, accountable, and results-driven, fostering high-performing teams and resilient partnerships.
