Overview The Data Quality Lead will provide support to Data Stewards and Data Custodians in the Product Domains and Corporate Functions to comply with Cuscals Data Risk Management Policy and Data Quality Management Standard. Responsibilities Enable Data Stewards and Custodians to measure and report data quality health across prioritised systems/use cases. Enable Data Stewards and Custodians to trust and verify the accuracy of their data to enable them to make critical business decisions. Enable ETS Data Services to implement data quality requirements for Critical Data Elements (CDEs). Data Risk Management Uplift Initiative: Define and elicit data quality requirements for in-scope CDEs in accordance with the Data Quality Management Standard. Define approach to measure and report data quality health for in-scope CDEs. Contribute to the design of data quality issue logging, triaging and prioritisation process. Data Quality Assessment: Conduct data quality profiling to identify patterns and trends for data anomalies, errors or inconsistencies. Design data quality remediation plans considering outputs from cost-benefit analysis. Develop SQL scripts for querying, data analysis and automating data quality processes where feasible. Data Profiling and Cleansing: Assist Data Stewards and Custodians in profiling and cleansing prioritised data sets/CDEs to identify and rectify data errors, inconsistencies and duplications in accordance with the Data Quality Management Standard. Data Quality Health Monitoring: Prepare data quality metrics for review and approval by Data Owners, Stewards and Custodians. Assist Data Steward/Custodian in raising data quality issues in Cuscals Governance, Risk and Compliance (GR&C) tool and design remediation plans to track the issue to closure. Design dashboards for presenting data quality trends and risk areas to committees (Technology Risk Committee and Data Governance Committee) on a regular basis. Custodian of Data Quality Tool: Support management in selecting a Data Quality Tool that meets Cuscal requirements. Qualifications 3+ years experience in data quality management and data governance within financial services, management consulting or highly regulated or critical services industries (Healthcare, telco, critical infrastructure). Experience in database management skills including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server to extract, manipulate and validate data. Experience in Python and R programming languages. Desirable experience Prior experience setting up and administering any industry-led Data Quality Tool (Ataccama ONE, Experian, Databricks). Prior experience creating reports through PowerBI, Tableau and/or SQL BI tools. Why Cuscal?
